"The role of Muslim scholars from seminaries of Qom and Najaf, who possess rational means, is a valuable one to address and solve social problems in present era." said head of the department of Islamic Studies at the University of Qatar.

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – Dr Yousef Mahmoud al-Sadiqi was a keynote speaker at the 3rd international conference of Islamic Jurisprudence and Law which is being held in Qom. During his speech at the event he remarked, "Muslim jurists left us a great legacy whose value is higher than Western sciences."

 

Dr al-Sadiqi added, "The role of Muslim scholars from seminaries of Qom and Najaf, who possess rational means, is a valuable one to address and solve social problems in present era."

 

 

 

"Scholars must make effort to solve present issues and we need to make our voice heard throughout the Islamic world; if we manage to inform the whole Muslim community then we can consider ourselves successful in this regard."

 

The Qatari scholar went on to say, "A strong cooperation must be established among Muslim scholars from different fields such as Islamic jurisprudence, law, sociology as well as other scientific fields to concentrate their efforts on the issue of education since proper education is the key to progress and development in Islamic community."

 

 

 

"The Islamic Republic of Iran can pave the way for establishment of a strong unified Islamic force even if it is necessary to cooperate with other powerful Islamic nations." concluded Dr Yousef al-Sadiqi.
