Chinese Man Converts to Islam in Razavi Holy Shrine

A young Chinese man converted to Shia Islam by uttering Shahadatain at the Razavi Holy Shrine in Mashhad, Iran./ He said, "I am happy to have a religion and .belief in the teachings of a heavenly religion, and I hope I can be able to learn more about my religion"

Hawzah News Agency (Mashhad, Iran) - According to Astan News, "Chuan Yank" was converted to the Islamic religion by uttering Shahadatian in a ritual led by the management of the non-Iranian pilgrims affairs of Astan Quds Razavi. 


"I live in Tianjin, in a small town where I am always in regular contact with Muslims who made me interested in their lifestyle and rituals," he said. 

 


Chuan Yank recounted the attractions of Islam as his motivation for conversion and said, "I hope I can find out more about Islam and spread this knowledge to others." 


The Muslim convert who is a graduate of architecture from the University of China, expressed happiness to be in the Razavi Holy Shrine and added, "I am happy to have a religion and belief in the teachings of a heavenly religion, and I hope I can be able to learn more about my religion by studying over time."

 


 "I've visited Iran and the Razavi Holy Shrine several times, and the first time I visited this place, I was struck by the magnificence of the architecture of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (a.s.) while also impressed by the spirituality of the place", he added.


 It is worth mentioning that at the end of the ceremony, the Muslim convert was awarded the certificate of conversion to Islam, along with spiritual gifts and several volumes of books from the management of non-Iranian pilgrims affairs of Astan Quds Razavi.
