"Division within Muslim community serves the benefits of our enemies; in order to thwart such enemy conspiracies Muslims need to stick together and stand united." said Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani.

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – In a meeting with a group of Sunni Muslim scholars in his office in the city of Qom on Monday, January 29, senior Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Hussein Noori Hamedani urged Muslims to unite against the World Zionist Organization and said, "If all Muslims stand united, Zionism will be perished from the face of the Earth."

The senior scholar added, "Iran used to be under control of foreign powers and it had no independence over its affairs, but the 1979 Islamic Revolution restored Iranians' pride and national dignity."

"Another result of the Islamic Revolution was to make Iranian nation united; following the Revolution, the whole Muslim community became united as well, but the enemies have tried throughout history to undermine this unity and solidarity."

Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani further added, "Our holy Imams (as) highlighted the importance of unity within Muslim community; they advised Muslims to attend each other's' mosques, to perform prayers together in order to boost unity among Muslims."

"Division within Muslim community serves the benefits of our enemies; in order to thwart such enemy conspiracies Muslims need to stick together and stand united."

The senior Shia cleric also asserted that Islamic values must be preserved to increase unity among Muslims; "Today, there's a confrontation between the righteous front and the infidels, such battle can take place in many different forms and Muslims need to be vigilant."
