Seminary research activities extend to fit society needs

Professor of Khuzestan seminary mentioned understanding needs of the society as an essential factor in the applied research.

Hawzah News Agency (Ahvaz, Iran) - Today at a meeting with research deputies of Khuzestan Islamic Seminary, representative of Khuzestan province in the Assembly of Experts described the ability to answer contemporary human needs as the reason for the longevity of Martyr Ayatollah Motahhari’s books and said, "If one is to write a book today, it should be about being revolutionary that is one of the most important needs of the young people these days."

 

Hujjat al-Islam Mohsen Heidari called being revolutionary in spirit and practice as one of the most serious requirements of Islamic seminaries students and stated, "Addressing issues such as critique of Wahhabism, Yamani,… is one of the duties of the seminary researchers; the authors and scholars should try to find and heal the intellectual pain of the community."

 

Professor of Khuzestan seminary mentioned understanding needs of the society as an essential factor in the applied research and noted, "Society's needs in different ideological, historical, jurisprudential, social and political fields as well as various issues related to the economic, cultural and media systems in Islam should be detected and probed with the cooperation of young seminary clerics in order to achieve the top model of global development based on Islamic data."
