Hawzah News Agency (Hawalli, Kuwait) - Quranic center has been established by the ministry's Office for Quranic Affairs in Jabriya area of Kuwait's Hawalli Governorate.
The main objective of the center is to teach Quran memorization, Tajweed principles and Quranic sciences to the women of the region.
Ahmad Taweel, director of the office, said that the center was opened in line with the plan to develop Quranic centers in different parts of the country.
He added that it presents two to five year-courses aiming to train 5 memorizers of the entire Quran every year.
Those willing to register for the courses should be Kuwaiti citizens aged 7 and more and should be memorizers of five Juzes (parts) of Quran and familiar with the basic principles of Tajweed.
Imam Shatibi Center is the third Quranic center opened for women in Kuwait for dissemination of Quranic sciences and teachings.
