Quranic Community to Renew Commitment with Imam Khomeini (RA) Ideals

Members of Iran's Quranic community will pay a visit to the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini (ra) on the occasion of the Ten-Day Fajr (Dawn) celebrations.

Hawzah News Agency (Tehran, Iran) - According to Mansour Aghamohammadi, secretary of the celebrations' Quran Committee, Quran activists, Qaris, memorizers, and Quranic officials will visit the mausoleum on Tuesday, January 30, to renew allegiance with the ideals of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

They will also lay a wreath on the tomb of the late Imam and recite prayers, he added.

It will come ahead of the Ten-Day Dawn celebrations marking the anniversary of the victory of Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution.

A number of Quranic programs, including Quran recitation sessions, are also planned to be held during the celebrations.

Every year, millions of Iranians across the country observe ten days of celebrations marking the anniversary of the victory of the revolution that put an end to the monarchy of the US-backed Pahlavi regime in the country.

The day of Imam Khomeini's return to Iran marks the beginning of the Ten Days of Dawn, which culminates with the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution on February 11.

The Iranian nation toppled the US-backed Pahlavi regime 38 years ago, ending the 2,500 years of monarchic rule in the country.

The Islamic Revolution spearheaded by the late Imam Khomeini established a new political system based on Islamic values and democracy.
