Lebanese cleric has blasted Tel Aviv as the prime suspect of a failed terror attack targeting security official in Palestinian resistance movement.

Hawzah News Agency (Sidon, Lebanon) - Following the narrow escape of a Hamas official, Lebanese cleric has blasted Tel Aviv as the prime suspect of a failed terror attack targeting security official in Lebanese resistance movement.

Sheikh Maher Hamoud, Lebanon’s head of the global union of resistance scholars, has slammed Israeli regime as the prime suspect of recent terror attack which targeted Mahmoud Hamdan in Sidon.

A bomb blast has reportedly injured a member of Palestinian group Hamas as he was about to enter his car on Sunday.

Lebanese scholar denounced Israel as the enemy not only for the Palestinian nation but number one enemy of all who struggle against intrigues as a supportive move for the right.

Sheikh Maher Hamoud referred to the stance of Hamas in operations against Israeli regime and said, "We are amid a war whose flames constantly leap and then drop."

Lebanese cleric called it an era following Trump's al-Quds decision, an era absolutely different from the past.

Lebaon's Al-Menar television has described the target Mahmoud Hamdan as an important person in the group reportedly tracked by Israel since long.

This is while a leader of Palestine's Fatah movement in Lebanon said the incident has Israeli fingerprints.
