Admission of over ۸,۰۰۰ students at Jamiat al-Zahra Women University

Hujjat al-Islam Madani said, "Over 50,000 clerics have graduated from Jamiat al-Zahra and are now active in various fields of society."

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – At a press conference on new academic year admissions at the Jamiat al-Zahra Islamic university which was held today, Hujjat al-Islam Madani emphasized that Imam Khomeini believed in women's great influence on the Islamic Revolution of Iran and said, "Women's active participation in various cultural, political, scientific and social spheres has led to many activities in the field of women's education, and Jamiat al-Zahra Islamic University has also taken upon this important mission."

Pointing out that the international division is one of the most important sections of Jamiat al-Zahra, Hujjat al-Islam Madani stated, "Fortunately, this year we have had admissions from all continents except Australia and have over 300 new foreign students."

 

Head of Jamiat al-Zahra said this women university has no offices and facilities abroad and added: "To register foreign students overseas, we have to use the offices of the al-Mustafa university, which, fortunately, we have been able to establish a good relationship with."

The Shia cleric asserted, “Last year over 8000 female students were admitted into Jamiat al-Zahra Islamic university."

 

He added, "Since the establishment of the Jamiat al-Zahra, over 50,000 clerics have graduated from this university and are now active in various fields of society. Today more than 12,000 Iranian and non-Iranian clerics are studying in undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D levels at this university”
