The Iraqi cleric went on, "In order to unify Islamic seminaries and universities, these two organizations must approximate their epistemological and cultural views. The Islamic seminary and universities must share similar socio-political concerns in present era. The process to approximate Islamic seminary and the universities must be given a higher priority than to hold joint conferences and meetings."

Secretary General of Iraq's Hezbollah further emphasized the eminent position that Islamic seminary holds among religious people in the Islamic Republic of Iran saying, "The role of seminaries in advancing Islamic civilization as well as educating the society is a truly decisive one, and that's why clerics need to offer new dialogues in order to influence the hearts of the youth."
