Head of Iranian seminaries

Ayatollah Arafi stated, "When we call Islam civilizing, it’s not a baseless claim, because when we look at Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) prophecy, we realize that Islam has had a civilizing view, from the very beginning.”

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) - In his remarks at the “International Seminary, Civilizing Seminary” conference which was held today morning at Imam Kadhim (as) Islamic seminary in Qom, Ayatollah Arafi head of Iranian seminaries condemned Trump’s foolish decision to move US embassy to Quds and said, “For sure, this offensive act will be source of awakening of the Ummah and the growth of Islamic movements.”

Head of Iranian seminaries also denounced inhuman actions against Myanmar's Muslims and added, “We decry hideous acts that have been carried out against Bahraini people, and in particular against Ayatollah Isa Qassim.”

In another part of his speech, Ayatollah Arafi asserted, “Islam’s civilizing approach has been chosen as a topic for this conference, as it is a main core in the international arena.”

“The civilizing view gives meaning and spirit to our movement in the world, and it is and should be the foundation of our movement in the international arena; we must stress on the civilizing dimension of Islam that is a significant essence of Islam,” he said.
