The revered source of emulation slammed the so-called international human rights bodies for their silence on the massacre of Rohingya Muslims and urged everyone to voice their support for the Muslims in Myanmar.

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – Shia source of emulation, Grand Ayatollah Hussein Noori Hamedani urged Muslims to promote genuine Nahj al-Balagha teachings in Islamic community. The cleric made the remarks during his advanced jurisprudence course in Qom on Wednesday.

 

Asserting that Nahj al-Balagha is free of distortion, the senior cleric added, "Three major points have been emphasized in this holy book; the fact that there must be no injustice, poverty or ignorance in the society, because the presence of such problems in society leads to its deterioration."

 

Pointing out the great responsibility of Muslim scholars and clerics to fight oppression, injustice and corruption within Islamic societies, Grand Ayatollah Noori said, "Allah almighty has urged scholars to stand up against injustice and oppression in every society."
