JCPOA unmask unreliable nature of US claims

"The Nuclear deal, though bitter on the look, marked a big lesson for Iranian authorities no to buy into fake claims made by the US," stressed Ayatollah Seddighi.

Hawzah News Agency (Tehran, Iran) - Referring to recent week statements by the US president, the cleric asserted that Donald Trump made a number of baseless remarks which require prudence as to their underlying realities.

Ayatollah Seddighi, while pointing to history of America’s enmity with Iran, said Americans would consider Iran’s religious structure as a threat even at a time when we had no nuclear or missile program.

“The problem is that they deem liberal democracy as an ultimate ideal and had projected the same view all across the globe,” continued the official recalling that Imam Khomeini, inspired by Islamic teachings, ignored both East and West and invited people to have faith in God.

Enemies, who would deny the fact that a nation founded on God’s power would never give in to suppression, imposed war against us though the move merely strengthen faith of Iranians.

Upon failing in the war, enemies ignited seductions inside the country and later formed the ISIL group though a religious leadership thwarted all conspiracies inside the Middle East.

“Repeated failures of Americans in the region have led to their fury and anger,” underlined Ayatollah Seddighi.

The senior cleric also touched upon the nuclear deal between Iran and the West explaining “despite being bitter on the look, the JCPOA was a big lesson for our authorities to never believe in American claims anymore.”

“Once the agreement was inked, instead of loosening pressures, they intensified sanctions and have also imposed sanctions against Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) who is in the frontline of fight against terrorism,” he continued.

He warned that the US was seeking to put an end to Iran’s missile program.

At another part of his remarks, Seddighi pointed to critical situations in Myanmar and Yemen saying “in these regions, humanitarian crises are occurring and real nature of the United Nations will be soon revealed.

“While 30,000 Yemeni Muslims have been killed by bombs and have lost all infrastructures, the UN has remained a mere observer,” he concluded.
