Passionate mourning of Urdu pilgrims at Imam Reza holy shrine

The director of non-Iranian pilgrims' affairs of Astan Quds Razavi reported the passionate mourning of Urdu pilgrims in the Razavi holy shrine concurrent with the second ten-day of Muharram.

Hawzah News Agency (Mashhad, Iran) - Sayed Muhammad Jawad Hasheminejad, announcing this news, said, "Concurrent with the second ten-day of the month of Muharram, more than 500 Urdu-speaking pilgrims and the enthusiasts of the household of the Apostle of God (s.a.w.) visited the holy shrine of Imam Reza (as) after taking part in the ceremony of martyrdom anniversary of Aba Abdullah al-Hussain (as) on their journey back to Mashhad." 

He recounted receiving and providing cultural services to these pilgrims as the main mission of the management and said, "This group, which has come from Pakistan, India and Britain to the Razavi Holy Shrine enjoyed the lecture delivered by Hujjat al-Islam Sayed Riyaz Heider Naqavi after the mourning ceremony. 



He added that recitation of pilgrimage prayers, stating the injunctions, holding cultural contests and distribution of gifts and cultural products are among the services of this department rendered to this group of pilgrims. 

Director of the affairs of non-Iranian pilgrims of Astan Quds Razavi added, "After attending the Kowthar portico and performing the congregation prayer, they benefited from other cultural-propaganda programs and participated in the Razavi's conduct and Razavi Holy Shrine tour courses intended for them."
