Islam Awareness Week Activities in Greenville, South Carolina

Lectures, a panel discussion, and a meet-and-greet at the library are the activities being held in Greenville during Islam Awareness Week.

Hawzah News Agency (Greenville, South Carolina, US) - It is underway on Oct. 3-12 at Furman University in Greenville, US state of South Carolina.

The first event was a lecture by Alfons Teipen, an associate professor of Islamic studies at Furman. The topic was "Islam: What everyone Needs to Know?"

 

"Black Muslim in America" will be the focus of the next lecture, set for 7 p.m. on Oct. 4 in the Watkins Room Trone Student Center.

There will be an opportunity on Oct. 6 to "Meet Your Muslim Neighbor," while enjoying free doughnuts and coffee. This event will begin at 10 a.m. on the library stairs at Furman.

 

The Upstate Muslim community will talk about Muslims in America during a panel discussion at 7 p.m. on Oct. 12. The event will be held in the Watkins Room in the Trone Student Center.
