The Shia source of emulation asked Iraqi tribes to abide by holy Islam and its principles and avoid false traditions of the past since some of these traditions have nothing to do with Islamic beliefs and Imam Ali's (as) teachings.

Hawzah News Agency (Najaf, Iraq) – Groups of Iraqi tribes from Maysan Governorate met with senior Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Muhammad Saeed Hakim in the holy city of Najaf and enjoyed his guidelines.

 

During the meeting, the Shia source of emulation asked Iraqi tribes to abide by holy Islam and its principles and avoid false traditions of the past since some of these traditions have nothing to do with Islamic beliefs and Imam Ali's (as) teachings. It's our duty to adhere to Islamic principles and Ahlulbayt's (as) doctrine.

 

 

Pointing out the constructive ties between seminary scholars and the tribes in Maysan governorate, Grand Ayatollah Hakim added, "Thanks to the efforts of Muslim clerics, the genuine Islamic teachings are being promoted among Maysan citizens."

 

In the end, the Shia source of emulation prayed to Allah almighty for protecting the whole Iraqi nation including Iraqi tribes.
