Head of Iranian seminaries underlined some unique features of al-Mustafa International University such as promoting religious freedom, developing peaceful coexistence among religions and avoiding extremism as the top strategies of the university.

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – In an interview with Hawzah News’ correspondent in the city of Qom on Monday Ayatollah Alireza Arafi pointed out al-Mustafa University’s major scientific, educational and cultural activities.

 

Offering a brief statistical report on the university’s programs, the Iranian cleric highlighted the importance of scientific plans in the Islamic world and urged unity within Muslim community in order to expand cooperation among the scientific and religious institutes throughout the world.

 

 

The senior cleric further reiterated that al-Mustafa University adheres to a series of strategic policies such as avoiding religious imposition, promoting the freedom of religious expression, developing peaceful coexistence among Islamic denominations as well as condemning extremism in any religion. He also pointed out that this seminary institute is the only major scientific-religious center in the world that strives to promote religious thoughts according to the needs of the present era and is involved in training religious scholars regardless of their faith.

 

Member of the Supreme Council at Iranian seminaries hailed al-Mustafa University as a scientific center that provides services to people everywhere and practices religious freedom. Ayatollah Arafi asserted that presenting Islamic teachings, Quranic lessons as well as Prophet Muhammad’s (sawa) words are among the major missions of Islamic seminaries including al-Mustafa International University.
