Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran)- Simultaneously with the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (as), the sixth Shia Imam, several mourning ceremonies were held in the holy shrine of Lady Masumah (sa) as well as in mosques and Hussainiyahs in Qom as well as all towns and cities across the country, to commemorate this great Shia Imam.

Some ceremonies were also held in the offices of Shia sources of emulations in Qom including the offices of Grand Ayatollahs Safi Golpaygani, Shobeiri Zanjani, Javadi Amoli, Makarem Shirazi and Noori Hamedani; these mourning ceremonies were attended by numerous Ahlul Bayt (as) lovers.

A mourning procession was also held by the office of Grand Ayatollah Vahid Khorasani; mourners marched from the office of Shia source of emulation to the holy shrine of Lady Masumah (sa) in Qom.
