Hawzah News Agency (Najaf, Iraq) – A group of Iraqi youth from the province of Maysan met with Grand Ayatollah Bashir al-Najafi, a Shia source of emulation in the city of Najaf on Sunday, July 9.
During the meeting, the senior Shia cleric emphasized the importance of pondering upon the creation of universe and he also advised Iraqi youth to think deeply about the greatness of the world and its creator.
“The youth must invite others to obey Allah almighty since they possess pure hearts and have a clear conscience. They must make efforts to approach Allah almighty and ask for divine blessings.”
“The youth play a key role in the present of Iraq as well as its future. They all must step in to help their country grow and prosper. Iraq needs them.” Grand Ayatollah added.
The Shia source of emulation further asserted, “Iraq is the country of Muslim sanctities thus our young generations must try to play their pivotal role to develop Iraq; I pray to Allah almighty for your success and prosperity.”
In a separate meeting with some students from the university of Kut along with a group of family members of Iraqi martyrs, Grand Ayatollah al-Najafi praised the sacrifices made by Iraqi popular mobilization forces during their fight against ISIS takfiri terrorists and added, “It’s our responsibility to pay visit to the graves of Iraqi martyrs since this act is strongly endorsed by our holy prophet (sawa) and is regarded as a valuable religious tradition. “
“We also have to do our best to support the families of these martyrs and make them happy; this is truly a worthwhile deed.”
