Ammar al-Hakim:
"Iraq eyes developing ties with Arab Countries"
“Our top ۵ priorities in building the future of Iraq are: increasing our national unity, improving ties with Arab nations, protecting our country’s sovereignty, promoting democracy as well as civil rights,” said Ammar al-Hakim.

Hawzah News Agency (Cairo, Egypt) – In a meeting with a group of Egyptian political and cultural figures in Cairo, Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim, head of National Iraqi Alliance, elaborated on the top 5 priorities in the future of Iraq as strengthening national unity among Iraqi citizens, improving ties with other Arab nations, protecting the sovereignty of Iraq as well as promoting democracy and civil rights in the country.”

 

“Iraq is going through the final days of the battle against inhumane ISIS terrorists; we showed Iraq’s strength and capabilities to fight terrorism.” Al-Hakim added.

 

Head of the National Iraqi Alliance further reiterated, “Following the recent ISIS’ terrorist attacks in some other countries, the international community has taken more serious measures in fighting ISIS.”

 

“The next step for us is to develop national unity and solidarity among Iraqi groups in order to make every Iraqi citizen involved in deciding the future of the country.”

 

“We have said time and again that we don’t compromise with ISIS terrorists or others whose hands are stained with Iraqis’ blood. “ Ammar al-Hakim concluded.
