Ayat. Araki voices solidarity with Syrian nation
Chairman of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought slammed the recent bus bombing in Syria and said, "The international community must hold those who support such vicious plots by issuing Takfiri fatwas accountable for what they have done."

Hawzah News Agency (Tehran, Iran) – Ayatollah Mohsen Araki issued a statement on Monday, April 17 to condemn the recent inhumane bus bombing which killed tens of civilians in the villages of Foua and Kefraya in Syria.

"The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought strongly condemns the recent terrorist bus attack in Syria that took the lives of many innocent civilians including women, children and the elderly. Such inhumane attacks prove the very evil nature of the coalition formed among the terrorist groups in Syria, Israel and their regional puppet regimes." The statement read.

It continued, "We will firmly stand by the resistant nation of our brother country Syria until their final victory over the terrorists."

"The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought also asks the international human rights bodies to live up to their obligations in order to hold the terrorists who committed such deadly attack accountable; The international community must hold those who support such vicious plots by issuing Takfiri fatwas accountable for what they have done and to come up with lasting solutions in order to avoid any further occurrence of such shameless crimes," the statement concluded.
