Khalid al-Batash, an official of Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, thanks the Islamic Republic of Iran for their unwavering support for Palestine and asked all the Arab and Muslim nations to voice their support for the Palestinian resistance.

Hawzah News Agency (Tehran, Iran) – The International Conference on Palestinian Intifada which was recently held in the Iranian capital, Tehran, provided a chance for politicians, Muslim scholars as well as activists from around the world to take part in discussions regarding the issue of Palestine.

While the West is sponsoring Takfiri terrorists in the region and are sowing discord within the Muslim Ummah in order to divert the world's attention from the issue of al-Quds, in the meantime, Tehran hosted an international conference in which delegations from as many as 80 countries gathered to solely discuss the situation in Palestine.

In an interview with Hawzah News, Khalid al-Batash, an official of Palestine's Islamic Jihad movement, appreciated Iran's role in supporting Palestine and asked all Arab and Muslim nations to stand behind Palestinian cause the same way that Islamic Republic has always been.

He referred to Iran's influential role in supporting Palestine and said, "During the recent conference we saw that all Palestinian groups participated in the event; this goes to prove the consensus that exists among different Palestinian parties on Iran's constructive role in furthering Palestinian resistance." Hawzah reported.

Representative of Palestine's Islamic Jihad Movement in the conference also thanked Ayatollah Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, as well as other Iranian officials and urged both countries to strengthen their bilateral ties; "The Islamic republic is actively playing its constructive role in Palestine and we ask all the Arab and Muslim countries to follow on the footsteps of Iran to support the Palestinian resistance."
