Ayatollah Haeri Shirazi

"There is a dominant trend in Today's world that aims to replace God with mankind; that's why modern human sciences have replaced the divine teachings. If we introduce Islamic humanities to the world, this would serve as a sign of our belief in God." said Ayatollah Haeri Shirazi.

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – Speaking at a gathering of female seminary students in Qom's Jamkaran Mosque on Sunday, Ayatollah Haeri Shirazi, a senior Shia cleric, asserted, "Our Islamic Revolution was a divine movement and if we are to globalize this revolution and its values, we need to bear all hardships in this way."

The seminary scholar further added, "There is a dominant trend in Today's world that aims to replace God with mankind; that's why modern human sciences have replaced the divine teachings. If we introduce Islamic humanities to the world, this would serve as a sign of our belief in God."

He went on to address the seminary students saying, "Clerics must devote themselves to the path of Allah almighty; since the true realization of a cleric's mission is to devote all their talents, capabilities and potentials to serve the cause of religion." Hawzah reported.

Ayatollah Haeri Shirazi concluded by saying, "Seminary schools are required to provide answers for society's educational and behavioral inquiries; we need to train female seminary students in order to be prepared to take on their future responsibilities as mothers, wives and citizens of the society."
