Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – In a meeting with the secretariat members of the conference on the Ahlul Bayt’s Way of Life (Sirah) Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi asserted, "The Ahl-ul-Bayt’s (as) moral virtues must be introduced to the whole world; any effort to promote the doctrine and teachings of the Ahlul Bayt (as) is considered as a worthwhile religious act and is therefore rewarded with divine bounties."
The senior cleric added, "Considering the ill intentions and propagations of Wahhabis to defame Islam and the Ahlul Bayt (as), it becomes of crucial importance to familiarize the world with the true aspects of the Ahlul Bayt’s (as) lives and teachings, especially Imam Ali’s (as)."
"In order to promote the genuine and true teaching's of the Ahlul Bayt (as), one must be careful not to cause discord among Sunni and Shia Muslims as it is essential for us to maintain our unity as a whole Islamic Ummah," Hawzah News quoted Ayatollah Makarem as saying.
The 2nd conference on the Ahlul Bayt’s (as) Sirah is going to be held in April in Qom, Iran as well as in the city of Najaf, Iraq.
