Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – Speaking at the 2nd round of the Hadith convention held at the special center for Hadith sciences in Qom, Iran, Hujjat al-Islam Farhad Abbasi, head of the center, congratulated the audience on the anniversary of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution and said, “ The center for Hadith sciences is supervised by Iranian Islamic seminaries management center and it was developed by the efforts of the hardworking seminary researchers; at first, the center began its course in a small room in Feyziyeh seminary school and now after several years it has turned to a respected academic center.”
The head of the specialized center for Hadith sciences added, “The road that we’ve come so far shows great progress in reaching our objectives; and now we’re about to see the results of these efforts in the 2nd hadith conference which is being held in Qom, Iran.”
“In this round of the convention as many as 130 works have been received by the secretariat office; this figure in turn shows the result of the scientific endeavors of researchers, professors and other activists in the field of hadith studies.”
Hujjat al-Islam Abbasi concluded, “The achievements of the special center for Hadith sciences include, publishing 100 scientific papers, 9 books, 2 scientific journals as well as establishing a library consisting of more than 12000 book editions, writing scholarly M.A theses, forming scientific unions, etc.”
