"We have come up with a comprehensive agenda to develop the dialogue of Islamic unity. Despite all the enemies’ attempts, including Saudi Arabia, to breed sectarianism and discord within the Muslim Ummah, we are witnessing the victory of Islamic Unity and dialogue over other movements,” said Chairman of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (WFPIST).

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – Ayatollah Mohsen Araki met with Grand Ayatollah Hussein Noori Hamedani, a Shia source of emulation in Qom on Monday, January 23 to inform Ayatollah Noori on the outcomes of the recently-held International Islamic Unity conference.

 

He also described the future strategies of their Islamic organization to boost the dialogue of unity within the Muslim Ummah.

 

He said, “In the new term of WFPIST activities we have come up with a comprehensive agenda to develop the dialogue of Islamic unity in order to further proximate Islamic sects to address the recent problems which are taking place in the Muslim world.”

 

He added, “Our programs include, publishing books and magazines, promoting the Islamic unity dialogue worldwide, organizing international conferences in Africa and Asia, holding religious approximation meetings in Qom in the presence of Islamic scholars, dispatching missionaries abroad to promote the dialogue of Islamic unity and approximation, etc.”

 

The senior cleric further asserted WFPIST’s efforts have proved to be influential in the world and they account for takfiris’ growing isolation worldwide; “Despite all the enemies’ attempts, including Saudi Arabia’s, to breed sectarianism and discord within the Muslim Ummah, we are witnessing the development of Islamic Unity and dialogue over hostile movements,” said Ayatollah Araki.
