Japanese Youth Converts to Islam in Imam al-Ridha Shrine

“Learning Persian was the reason for my travel to Iran. During my presence in Iran, I became familiar with Islam and its culture”. said the newly-converted Japanese Muslim. Ino Kouchi chose Ridha as his new name.

Hawzah News Agency (Mashhad, Iran) - PhD student of Persian language at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad converted to Islam and became a Muslim at Imam al-Ridha (as) Holy Shrine.

 

Regarding his conversion, he said, “I was studying Indian history and this major required me to learn the Persian language”.

 

Ino Kouchi went on, “Learning Persian was the reason for my travel to Iran. During my presence in Iran, I became familiar with Islam and its culture”.

 

He said, “I have now a very beautiful feeling and I know that I have been invited to a new world. It’s my new birthday today and I will never forget it during all my life”.

 

New Tara Ino Kouchi stated, “Most of my researches on Islam return to when I was a high school student. However, I could not comprehend the religion perfectly at that time as I had not observed any practical example of it and its culture”.

 

“When I arrived in Iran, I could visit followers of this valuable religion closely and I, as a result, became familiar with its great teachings more than before”, he added.

 

It should be mentioned that at the end of this ceremony, management by the office of non-Iranian pilgrims’ affairs offered this new Muslim some blessed gifts and his conversion certificate. Ino chose Ridha as his new name.
