Pakistani Shia pilgrims stuck up on Taftan border reach Quetta

Shia pilgrims have finally reached Quetta after having been held up at Taftan border town for many days. Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen leaders received them in the provincial capital of Baluchistan.

Hawzah News Agency (Quetta, Pakistan) - Pakistani Shia Muslims who had gone to pilgrimage to Iran and Iraq via Iran had returned many days ago. The security officials stopped them at the Taftan border due to security reasons.

 

Finally they were allowed to leave Taftan for Quetta on Monday, December 18; Boarded in 60 buses, they reached Quetta at night. They and their buses were showered with rose petals by Allama Syed Hashim Mousavi and other office bearers of the MWM.
