Hawzah News Agency (Tehran, Iran) – In the 10th edition of the World Assembly for Islamic Awakening Supreme Council held in Iranian capital, Tehran on Thursday December 15, Sayyed Noor al-Din Jan Ki Jan, a Chinese Muslim Scholar, said, “There are 25 million Muslims living in China,”

He added, “These 25 million Chinese Muslims are living in a peaceful coexistence despite their different religious backgrounds and beliefs; in the same vein, the Chinese government also respects their identity and does not impose any restrictions on them”

“Muslims do not face any religious restrictions in China and are freely conducting their religious activities; they openly build mosques and religious centers, there are currently students learning religious sciences in those centers and mosques,” the Chinese scholar added.

Pointing out that the Chinese government supports the religious scholars and helps construct more mosques in China he added, “The Chinese people live together peacefully,”

“If all the Islamic communities are united into a whole body, they could manage to advance this great unified Islamic movement by adhering to holy Quran, Islamic principles as well as the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (a.s),”
