Protest rallies around KP in solidarity with Palestine

Protest rallies were taken out in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in connection with Al-Quds Day to express solidarity with the Palestinian people in their struggle for freedom against Israeli occupation.

The Aalmi Muttahida Ulema Mashaikh Council Pakistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter, staged a protest in Peshawar against the US and Israel for their injustices against innocent Muslims around the world. The protesters, led by Maulana Shoaib, set ablaze Israeli flags and blocked the main road for traffic. They shouted loud slogans against US and Israel.

Parachinar: Tribe’s people in large number took out a protest rally on Friday to express solidarity with Palestinian people on the eve of Al-Quds Day. The protest rally was organised by Tehreek-e-Hussaini was led by former senator Abid Hussain Al-Hussaini. Speaking on the occasion the former senator gave a call to the Muslims around the world for unity to thwart the conspiracy hatched against them. The protesters on the occasion vowed to present every kind of sacrifice for the defense of Pakistan. To mark the Al-Quds Day the protesters carried anti-Israel and anti-US banners and chanted slogans in favour of the Palestinian people’s struggle.

Dera Ismail Khan: Activists of the Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) took out protest rallies here on Friday to condemn the illegal occupation of Palestine by Israel. The protesters chanted slogans against both Israel and United States for inflicting atrocities on innocent Muslims.

Speaking on the occasion to mark the annual Al-Quds Day, the speakers called for Muslim unity. They lamented that world powers had come together against Syria but had turned a blind eye towards the plight of the Palestinians. The speakers also condemned the rising target killing incidents in Dera Ismail Khan and asked the authorities concerned to take action against the perpetrators. Muslims around the globe mark the last Friday of Ramadan as a day of solidarity to condemn the oppression of Palestine and the Palestinian struggle for justice at the hands of Israel.
