 Muslim charity hands out ۵۶ hampers to children at hospital

A Muslim charity helped to bring spread some Christmas cheer to hospital patients by donating 56 hampers.

Hawzah News Agency - Muslim Global Relief have pledged to visit children’s hospital, care homes and food banks over the festive period.

The hampers contain a variety of Christmas treats including chocolates, arts and crafts and toys for children and were presented to those patients going home from Blackburn Royal hospital.

Charity Manager, Asma Siddique said, “It’s fantastic to be able to provide Christmas hampers for children patients at the Hospital which is not only an incredibly touching gesture, but one that makes a real difference.

A spokesperson for East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust said: “We would like to say a big thank you to Muslim Global Relief for taking the time to visit our Children’s Unit.

“All of the staff, children and families really appreciate the generous gifts to help lighten what can often be a difficult time.

“It really helps make the children’s time in hospital that little bit better.”

Muslim Global Relief is a UK based international relief organisation working since 2000 on humanitarian issues.
