Hamas official: Calm in rallies opportunity for ending siege on Gaza Strip

The calm in the Marches of Return is an opportunity for the Zionist regime to put an end to the siege on Gaza Strip, a Hamas official said.

Hawzah News Agency - If they are mistaken, they should know that the rallies will be continued strongly,' said Khalil al-Hayya.

Saying that the rallies will go on until the siege is broken, al-Hayya said, 'Palestinians will go on to fight with the Zionist occupiers until they can restore their rights and cut the hands of the Zionists.'

'Constant invasions and use of real buckets cannot stop the Palestinians.'

He added that the people of Palestine continue to take part in the rallies to say that the siege cannot be eternal.

Israeli occupiers have laid a siege on Gaza Strip since 12 year ago.

'We will keep trying, especially in the international level; we are sure that the attempts will work one day and Palestinians can restore their rights with the help of the freedom seekers of the world,' said al-Hayya.

With the unconditional support of the United States, the Zionist regime have been mistreating the Palestinians, driving them out of their homes and killing and injuring them.

The US sometimes take actions against the oppressed Palestinians as well: Relocating the US embassy to Jerusalem and cutting off funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) that supports Palestinian refugees are the latest actions of the US opposing Palestinians.

In the latest ‘March of Return’ – a chain of protests held by Palestinians – which have been held every Friday since March 30, 2018, Zionist troops killed and injured in Gaza Strip some 400 Palestinian, including children, youths, journalists and nurses.

Previous editions of March of Return’ also have ended in killing and injuring hundreds of people.
