Lack of enough Seminary Schools for women in Mazandaran province

Director of Mazandaran Seminary Sisters said: considering the number of women in Mazandaran and their interest in studying at Seminaries, the education of all sisters in the provincial cities should be provided.

Hawzah News Agency (Sari, Iran) – Hujjat al-Islam Ali Ghaffari, director of Seminary Sisters in Mazandaran Province, at a meeting with Imam Jumah (Friday prayer leader) of Noor, stated: "considering the number of women in Mazandaran and their interest in studying at Seminaries, this number should be increased and the education of all sisters in the provincial cities should be provided."

"Noor is one of the coastal towns of Mazandaran and because of the divine gifts such as the sea and the forest, is touristy and subject to social-cultural damage. Therefore, the seminaries for women is a priority. Because the establishment of the Seminary School for women will boost religious talents, promote and protect religious and indigenous culture and values." He added.

director of Seminary Sisters in Mazandaran noted: "Noor city is the cradle of the great scholars of contemporary and predecessor, such as Ayatollah Noori, Ayatollah Sajjadi and ...etc, but unfortunately, for some reasons such as the frequent change of Friday Imams, this has not yet been achieved."
