Algerian ambassador: Iran Quran expo boosts unity among Muslims

Algeria's envoy described Tehran's International Holy Quran Exhibition as a big, major religious display in the global arena that has contributed to Muslims' solidarity.

Hawzah News Agency (Tehran, Iran) -'The Zionist regime's plots against the Muslim world have caused division among the Muslim countries; however, amidst the plots, the Islamic Republic of Iran has played a role in making the Muslim nations united by holding an international exhibition of Holy Quran,' Abdel Moun'aam Ahriz said.

The Muslim world is in an urgent need of unity in the current situation, he said.

 



He also warned that the Muslim countries should be vigilant in such situation, as the plots against them might have serious consequences in the long run.

The Algerian ambassador to Tehran also denounced the US step in moving its embassy from Tel Aviv to Quds to recognize the city as the capital of the Zionist regime of Israel.

 



He called for more measures to be taken to boost unity among the Muslim nations, including holding meetings by religious scholars, and conducting research on the required conditions for making Muslims more unified.

The 26th Tehran International Exhibition of Holy Quran was held from May19-June 4.
