Karbala hosts Quranic session for Lebanese women

In line with the Dar-ol-Quran's plan to cooperate with Quranic institutes in Iraq and other countries a Quranic session was held for a group of Lebanese female Quran activists at the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (a.s.) in Karbala, Iraq.

Hawzah News Agency (Karbala, Iraq) - According to dar-alquran.org, the Women Quran Center affiliated to the Dar-ol-Quran of the holy shrine's Astan (custodianship) organized the program.

It was attended by a number of Quran teachers and memorizers of Lebanon's "Towjih and Irshad" Quranic Association who were on pilgrimage to the Iraqi holy city. 

 

 

Amal Matouri, head of the Quran center, said that the women also successfully passed a Quran memorization exam held under the supervision of a committee of Quran experts and were granted certificates by the Dar-ol-Quran.

 

Matouri added that the program was held in line with the Dar-ol-Quran's plan to cooperate with Quranic institutes in Iraq and other countries.
