Iran-Arab world Cultural talks held in Iraq

"The two countries of Iran and Iraq have reached a mutual understanding and as we have always stood by the people and government of Iraq, we will also vigorously cooperate in reconstructing Iraq in future." Iranian Ambassador to Iraq Iraj Masjedi said.

Hawzah News Agency (Iraq) - Cultural dialogues among Islamic Republic of Iran and the Arab world under the title 'Role of Philosophy in cultural talks among Iran and Arab World' kicked off in Iraq by reading the message of senior Shia scholar Ayatollah Abdullah Javadi Amoli.

Head of Iraq's Bayt al-Hikmah Institute thanked Iranian cultural attaché in Iraq for organizing this event and said, "Engaging in dialogues does not mean that all sides have a consensus, rather it indicates their respect for different opinions and attitudes. Today, the Iraqi nation has chosen the method of dialogue over violence."

Iranian Ambassador to Iraq Iraj Masjedi also pointed out the brotherly ties between Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq in all areas adding, "The two countries of Iran and Iraq have reached a mutual understanding and as we have always stood by the people and government of Iraq, we will also vigorously cooperate in reconstructing Iraq in future."

In the next part, the scholars present at the meeting, who were from different countries, delivered their speeches.

Part of the message issued by senior Shia scholar Ayatollah Abdullah Javadi Amoli to the conference reads, "I welcome you intellectuals and academics from Islamic Republic of Iran and other Muslim countries to the event. I hope that Allah almighty blesses all of you scholars for presenting papers in this scientific gathering. "
