Senior Terrorist Commander Killed in Remote-Controlled Bomb Blast in North-western Syria

One of the key commanders of Ahrar al-Sham in Syria was killed in a remote-controlled explosion in Southeastern Idlib amid intensified attacks on terrorist commanders in region.

Hawzah News Agency (Damascus, Syria)- Mahmoud Darvish, a notorious Ahrar al-Sham commander, was killed after a remote-controlled bomb, planted by unknown parties near the village of Tal Touqan in Southeastern Idlib, was detonated while Darvish was around the village.  

 

Local sources confirmed on Saturday that Osama Kharitah nom de guerre Abu Zeid al-Askari, a senior commander of Ahrar al-Sham, was killed by unknown assailants near the town of Ma'arat al-Masrin in Northern Idlib.

 

The sources further said that Osama was the commander of Ahrar forces in the region around the towns of Fua'a and Kafraya.
