Ayat. Mousavi Jazayeri: Mosul liberation proved position of Maraji

Representative of Iranian Supreme leader in Khuzestan province in the statement congratulated Grand Ayatollah al-Sistani on the recent recapture of Mosul from ISIS (or Daesh) terrorists. // "What makes us even more jubilant is the fact that this great victory was brought as a result of by Iraqis’ adherence to Shia sources of emulation."

Hawzah News Agency (Ahwaz, Iran) – Ayatollah Mousavi Jazayeri issued a statement on Tuesday in which he congratulated Grand Ayatollah al-Sistani, Shia source of emulation, on the recent recapture of Mosul from ISIS terrorists.

The text of the statement is as follows:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

I congratulate your eminence on the great victory of Iraqi brave soldiers in recapturing the city of Mosul from ISIS terrorists after a long and difficult battle.

What makes us even more jubilant is the fact that this great victory was brought as a result of by Iraqis’ adherence to Shia sources of emulation and following your eminences’ fatwa (religious order) in fighting ISIS.

I pray to Allah Almighty for your Excellency’s health and success as well as the dignity of all Muslims.
